ALIGARH.Syed Umar Ashraf, and Mohd Saad Arshad, members of AMU football club have been selected for the UP State Football Camp. The selection was held at the meeting of Kanpur UP State Football Association. Both the AMU Students will participate in the Football Coaching Camp at Varanasi, and, if selected, will participate in the Santosh Trophy National Football Tournament, to be held at Delhi. Prof Tariq Mansoor, Secretary, University Games Committee, and Prof Tabassum Shahab, President, Gymkhana Club, congratulated the players on the remarkable achievement.

under the National AIDS Control Organization, was organized by State Reference Laboratory (SRL) in the Department of Microbiology,
JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

for a period of twoyears vice Professor Abu Bakar Khan.
While Professor Mohd Gulrez has been appointed as Chairman, Department of West Asian
Studies, Aligarh Muslim University for aperiod of three years with effect from
January 1, 2014 vice Prof. S. Shamir Hassan.
