AMU Academic Council to appeal Supreme Court on NEET

Aligarh:The Academic Council of the Aligarh Muslim University in its meeting today has decided that the University will appeal in the Supreme Court on the issue of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). The meeting was presided by AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd).

Students suspended for their alleged role in violence

ALIGARH:The Aligarh Muslim University has suspended twelve students for their alleged involvement in the violence that erupted in the intervening night of April 23/24, 2016 claiming two lives.

Seminar held on Plagiarism

ALIGARH :Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with Turnitin, USA and iGroup Infotech, Noida jointly organized a seminar on “Academic Integrity and Plagiarism” at the Cultural Hall of the Library. एएमयू प्रकरण की मजिस्ट्रियल जाॅच करेंगे एडीएम प्रशासन

अलीगढ:जिला मजिस्ट्रेट  डा0 बलकार सिंह ने बताया है कि 23 अप्रैल की रात्रि में आगजनी, फायरिंग सम्बंधित घटित एएमयू प्रकरण की मजिस्ट्रियल जाॅच हेतु अपर जिला मजिस्ट्रेट  (प्रशासन) संजय चैहान को अधिकृत किया गया है।
जिला मजिस्ट्रेट ने बताया है कि उक्त घटना किन परिस्थितियों में हुई और इसके लिये कौन दोषी है तथा भविष्य में इस प्रकार की घटना की पुनरावृत्ति न होने के सम्बन्ध में सुझाव प्राप्त करने हेतु एवं उक्त घटित प्रकरण की गम्भीरता के दृष्टिगत जनपद के वरिष्ठ पीसीएस अधिकारी संजय चैहान एडीएम ई को मजिस्ट्रियल जाॅच के लिये नामित करते हुये निर्देशित किया गया है कि उपरोक्त प्रकरण की जाॅच कर अपनी सुस्पष्ट आख्या 15 दिनों के अन्दर उपलब्ध कराना सुनिश्चित करेंगे।

Sir Syed Hall (North) holds annual Hall function

ALIGARH :Addressing the Annual Hall Function “Oquab-e-Sir Syed” of the Sir Syed Hall (North) at the Aligarh Muslim University, Mr. Hasan Mahmood Mohammed Al Jawarneh, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to India, said that this University is globally known for teaching various subjects and disciplines to students coming from different parts of the world. He said that there were a number of students from Jordan receiving education at AMU and this academic relation will develop India-Jordan relationship in different fields.

The Department of Community Medicine celebrates the World Health Day

ALIGARH: Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University organized the annual All India Mushaira yesterday evening at the College Auditorium. विदित है कि चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभागियों ने ए वर्ग के अंतर्गत 5 से 8 वर्ष में पर्यावरण संरक्षण अंतर्गत प्रकृति पर कुछ भी बनाने, बी वर्ग अंतर्गत 9 से 12 वर्ष में प्रकृति बचाओ थीम पर एवं सी वर्ग अंतर्गत 13 से 17 वर्ष में पृथ्वी बचाब पर मनमोहक पेंटिंग तैयार की थीं।

Engineering students felicitated

ALIGARH: Brig. S. Ahmad Ali, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University today felicitated four engineering students for achieving exemplary success in their field. Brig. North Zone comprising 8 AMU players win Vizzy Trophy 2015-16

7 को अब नहीं होगी अमुवि कोर्ट की बैठक

अलीगढ़:अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी की सर्वोच्च बाॅडी अमुवि कोर्ट की 7 अप्रैल 2016 को निर्धारित विशेष बैठक स्थगित कर दी गई है। अमुवि रजिस्ट्रार डाॅ. असफर अली खाॅन के अनुसार 2 अप्रैल को अमुवि की एक्जीक्यूटिव कौन्सिल की विशेष बैठक में चयनित पाॅच व्यक्तियों के पैनल में से दो व्यक्तियों को अनभिज्ञता से उक्त मीटिंग में भाग लेने तथा मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने के फलस्वरूप अयोग्य करार दिया गया है। डाॅ. खाॅन ने बताया कि अमुवि कोर्ट की विशेष बैठक के लिए अगली तारीख का ऐलान एक्जीक्यूटिव कौन्सिल द्वारा पाॅच नामों के नये पैनल के निर्धारण के उपरान्त किया जायेगा।
