अलीगढ़। आगामी 27 दिसम्बर को एएमयू में राष्ट्रपति आगमन को लेकर फूल प्रूफ सिक्योरिटी को लेकर एएमयू इंतजामिया व प्रशासन दिन-रात एक कर रहे हैं। इस दौरान किसी भी प्रकार की विरोधात्मक कार्य न हो इसलिए पल-पल की ख़बर पर गौर किया जा रहा है। लेकिन एक व्यक्ति ऐसा है जो एएमयू में राष्ट्रपतिके सामने आत्मदाह कर अपने जीवन को समाप्त करने के लिए फिराक्त में है।

AMU ranked 50 among top 100 institutions in BRICS

ALIGARH.The Aligarh Muslim University has been ranked 50
among top 100 institutions of higher learning in BRICS (the group of newly
developed and industrialized countries including Brazil, Russia, India,
China and South Africa), while Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi holds
57th position.
In a study made by the Times Higher Education, UK for the year 2014, ten
Indian institutions of higher learning have made to the ranking of
institutions of BRICS and emerging economies, out of which 6 are IITs.

अमुवि विधि छात्र अनुशासनहीनता में निष्कासित

अलीगढ़.अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के उपकुलपति ने बीएएलएलबी के छात्र आशुतोष मिश्रा एनआरएससी˝ को अनुशासनहीनता के आरोप में जाँच पूर्ण होने तक के लिये विश्वविद्यालय से निष्कासित कर के उसके परिसर में प्रवेश पर प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया है।

Yet another case comes to AMU

Aligarh.Yet another case comes to Aligarh Muslim University’s (AMU) women cell, this time it was misbehavior with a senior professor. However, university says nothing happened with her.  Senior Professor of English Department, Dr Iffat Ara Bano was asked to prepare question paper of Master of Arts (MA) first year for annual examination.

एएमयू लॉ प्रोफेसर के गैर जमानती वारंट पर आईओ 23 को कोर्ट में तलब

अलीगढ़। इन दिनों अमुवि में चर्चा का विषय रहे लॉ  प्रोफेसर-विधि छात्रा मामले में गुरूवार को भी मामले की सुनवाई को आगामी 23 दिसम्बर के लिए टाल दिया गया। अमुवि के सस्पेंडेड लॉ  प्रोफेसर शब्बीर मामले में प्रोफेसर की सरेंडर अपील पर प्रोफेसर पक्ष के अधिवक्ता ने नोट  प्रेस  किया। गैर जमानती वारंट पर प्रोफेसर के अधिवक्ता का कहना था कि उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार का नोटिस प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है जबकि पुलिस का पक्ष था कि इस बारे में नोटिस प्रोफेसर के आवास पर चस्पा कर दिया गया है। इस उलझन पर सीजेएम कोर्ट ने जांच अधिकारी को नोटिस कॉपी  कैस डायरी सहित आगामी 23 दिसम्बर को कोर्ट में तलब किया है। इस दौरान पीडि़ता पक्ष द्वारा वाद को वापिस लेने के लिए मिल रहीं धमकियों पर एक शपथ पत्र भी पेश किया गया। प्रोफेसर शब्बीर की बेगम डा.खान नूर इफरोज ने बताया कि किसी भी प्रकार का नोटिस प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है अगर नोटिस मिलेगा तो कोर्ट का सहयोग किया जायेगा।

अमुवि लॉ प्रोफ़ेसर मामला:कोर्ट से पहले अभियुक्त को अपराधी करार देना कहां तक है न्यायपालिका का सम्मान ?

अलीगढ़। भारतीय संविधान में वैसे तो न्यायपालिका को उच्च स्थान प्रदान किया गया है। अभी कुछ समय से यौन शौषण मामलों में जनता ने भावनाओं में बहकर न्यायपालिका से पहले आरोपी को अपराधी करार दे उसकी छवि को धूल में मिला दिया। ऐसा ही इस समय अमुवि के लॉ विभाग के सस्पेंड विभागाध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर शब्बीर के मामले में हो रहा है।

AMU students demands Communal violence Bill, send 20,000 signatures to Minority Affairs Minister

Aligarh.After a massive campaign at AMU, with collection of 20,000 signatures from AMU and a students march from jama Masjid to bab e syed, against riot politics and in favour of Anti Communal Violence Bill, AMU students for justice, met K Rahman Khan, Union minister for Minority affairs at New Delhi on 12^th December, to press for the Communal Violence Bill to be passed in parliament and to raise concerns regarding the rising levels of communal violence in India. The delegation included Fawaad Shaheen, Abdullah Azzam, Manazir Bari, Mubashir Ahmad, Farhan Shamsi and Muzir, all bonafide students at AMU.

AMU not shielding Prof. Shabbir: VC

ALIGARH.The Aligarh Muslim University would like to clarify
that the Vice Chancellor is no way trying to shield Prof. M. Shabbir. The
clarification was issued only in the interest of the victim who during her
interaction with the Vice Chancellor complained that she was being asked
embarrassing questions about her “rape”.

अलीगढ- एएमयू में विधि छात्रा के यौन शोषण के आरोपी प्रोफ़ेसर के खिलाफ कड़ी कारर्वाई और गिरफ़्तारी की मांग को लेकर गुरुवार को छात्राओ ने पीस मार्च निकलने की कोशिश की लेकिन सुरक्षा का हवाला देते हुए एएमयू इंतजामिया ने छात्राओ को छात्रावास से बाहर निकलने की अनुमति नहीं दी.

AMU Law professorn-girl sexual harassment case..." it was a case of molestation only and not the other kind of sexual misdemeanor"-VC

 ALIGARH.There has been a widespread coverage of alleged rape/sexual harassment/molestation of a girl by Prof. M. Shabbir, Chairman, Department of Law at the Aligarh Muslim University. AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah today met the concerned girl along with her father and it was clearly brought out by them that it was a case of molestation only and not the other kind of sexual misdemeanor as reported by a section of media.

 अलीगढ़। अब तक नींद से एएमयू तो नहीं जागा लेकिन एएमयू में छात्र संघ चुनाव कराने के लिए छात्र नेता जाग चुके हैं। छात्र नेता एवं एएमयू कोर्ट मेम्बर हाजी़ अरशन खान ने अमुवि में छात्र संघ चुनाव कराने के लिए वीसी के लिए एक पत्र वीसी आफिस में रिसिव करा दिया है।

अवैध निर्माण में गुम एएमयू संस्थापक सर सैयद की हवेली की हुई पहचान

 अलीगढ़। अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्रों द्वारा किये गये प्रयास को मंजिल और एएमयू संस्थापक सर सैयद को अपनी उस हवेली का पता चल गया है जो दिल्ली के दरियागंज इलाके में अवैध निमार्णो में कहीं गुम हो गयी थी।
