Smart Classrooms inaugurated at AMU

ALIGARH:Dr. Abdullah Abdullah of Washington, USA today
inaugurated a Smart Classroom at the Women's College of the Aligarh Muslim
University.The smart classroom has been developed with the funds donated
by the AMU Alumni Association of Greater Chicago, USA. Dr. Abdullah has
served the Women's College as a faculty member in 1964.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah and several US
based alumni of the University graced the occasion.

Dr. Fazal Khan, Former President of AMU Alumni Association, Washington DC
also inaugurated another Smart Classroom at the department of Botany. Dr.
Masood Akhtar, an alumnus of this department donated the money for
developing this smart classroom.

The Aligarh Muslim University has constituted a Committee under the
convener ship of Dr. Asfar Ali Khan to develop these Smart Classrooms.
Other members of the committee include Dr. Omar Farooq, Dr. Abid Ali Khan
and Dr. Yusufuzzaman Khan.

Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Prof. G. G. Dwivedi, Chairman of the AMU Alumni Affairs
Committee and Dr. Suhail Sabir were also present.
