ALIGARH : Mr. Jawwad Ahmad Khan, a 1992 batch IRS and erstwhile Additional Commissioner, Income Tax, has taken over charge as Finance Officer of Aligarh Muslim University.
Mr. Jawwad belongs to Purnea district of Bihar. He completed his intermediate from Darbhanga, B.Com. from Patna University and M. Com. and LLb. from Delhi University. As an Income Tax officer, he has served at Patiala, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. He has held the position of Additional Income Tax Commissioner in Ghaziabad from June 2013 before joining AMU.
