delivered an extension lecture on Islamic finance at the Department of
Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University.
Prof. Suzuki, who is an eminent economist, addressed the students and faculty members of the
Faculty of Management Studies and Research on the topic "A new
conceptualization of Islamic Bank rent". Using a case study of Bangladesh,
he said that Islamic form of financing can help in maintaining the
financial stability of banks.
The program was conducted by Seher Zaidi, a student of PG Diploma in
Islamic Banking and Finance. Professor M. Israrul Haque, Dean and Chairman
welcomed the guest and briefed him about the university and its academic
programmes.
