The lecture was delivered by Dr Viveka Kumar, senior cardiologist and Dr Rajnish Malhotra, senior cardiac surgeon from Max Devki Devi Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.
The programme highlighted the changing practices in Cardiology with newer advances coming at every platform whether in drug, procedure or stents or any device. The emphasis was to keep the cardiologists abreast with many patient friendly interventions which find great relevance today.
Prof Asif Hasan, Director of the Centre, said that a good number of faculty and students attended the programme. Prof. M. Amanullah Khan, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Prof. Tariq Mansoor, Principal, JNMC were also present.
