Aligarh:The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH) of Aligarh Muslim University reached new heights after it became the first Government Medical College in the Western Uttar Pradesh region to carry out coronary angiography in the recently established Cath Lab of the hospital.
The coronary angiography was done free of cost to the first patient availing this facility.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Asif Hasan, Director, Centre of Cardiology informed that now cases of coronary angiography and angioplasty can be done in JNMCH at nominal rates on the lines of AIIMS and PGIMER Chandigarh.

New cardiology OPDs will now be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at New OPD block for super specialties and non-invasive cardiac investigations like TMT: Holter: Echocardiography will also be conducted at New OPD block.
