North Zone Inter University Cricket: Day 6

Aligarh:Host Aligarh Muslim University on Tuesday registered second consecutive victory in the North Zone Inter University Cricket Tournament by defeating Haryana Agricultural University, Hissar by 8 wickets. In the other matches, HNB Garwal, Srinagar defeated Sharda University, Noida by 191 runs, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly beat IK Gujral PTU, Jalandhar by 5 wkts and Sam Higginbottom Institute, Allahabad defeated Islamic University, Pulwama, J & K by 90 runs.

AMU student to participate in National Games 2016

Aligarh: BA LLB (third year) student of Aligarh Muslim University, Mr Amaan Ali Shah brought laurels to Aligarh Muslim University yet again after qualifying for the National Games 2016 to participate in the Rifle Shooting event.This young shooter from AMU recently won the North Zone, Dr Karni Singh shooting Range at Tughlabad, New Delhi.He has also qualified to play for obtaining ‘National Rankings’ after winning the two events of ‘Small bore free Rifle (NR) Championship 50 M Men Individual’ at the senior and junior levels. He won the events with a score of 584 out of 600.

अलीगढ़:प्रख्यात वैज्ञानिक और अमरीका की नोरथ ईस्ट ओहियो मैडीकल यूनीवर्सिटी के प्रोफेसर तारिक एम हक्की ने आज कैमिस्ट्री विभाग में ‘‘गठिया’’ के रोग पर उनकी प्रयोगशाला में हो रहे शोधकायों पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि गठिया की बीमारी को खानपान के सही ढंग से इस्तेमाल करने से इस बीमारी से मुक्ति प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
