AMU Student Unoin results declared,Maskoor president

Aligarh:The Office of the Chief Election Officer, Aligarh Muslim University Students’ Union (AMUSU) announced the results of University student polls after days of buzzing activities of students cheering their respective candidates.

Grabbing the ballots’ limelight; Maskoor Ahmad Usmani (BDS student) was declared as the president elect with 9071 votes, while Sajad Subhan Rather (Phd student) won the post of vice-president with 5711 votes. Mohd Fahad, pursuing MAEBM has been declared as the winner for the Hony-Secretary post with 4008 votes.Students who won the cabinet membership are Mohd Shabaz Shafiq (B Voc), Farhan Zuberi (BSW), Syed Mohammad Shahbaz (B.Com), Mohd Nadeem (BA), Zohiab Ahmad (B.Com), Zaid Sherwani (BSW), Md Najmus Saquib (B.Com), Mateen Ashraf (BA), Nabila Zehra (BA LLB) and Samreen Farha (BUMS).
Meanwhile, candidates elected as representatives of students’ on the University Court from various University faculties are Mohd Haseer (Social Science), Adnan Khan (Arts), Kamran Khan (Engineering and Technology), Mohammad Shabaz Ali Khan (Science), Arham Khan (Medicine), Yawar Habib (Life Science), Shadab Ali (Commerce), Moinuddin (Unani Medicine), Shahnawaz Khan (Law), Aaquib Khan (Management Studies and Research and International Studies) and Talha Bin Tariq (Agricultural Sciences and Theology).
