AMU concludes Inter-School Quiz ‘INQUIZITIVE’

Aligarh:The Debating and Literary Club, Aligarh Muslim University recently concluded ‘INQUIZITIVE’, Inter-School Quiz Competition, which was held at the Kennedy Hall Auditorium.
Around 43 teams participated in the preliminary round of the competition, while six teams of AMU ABK Union, Blossoms Public School, Senior Secondary School (AMU) and Syed Hamid Senior Secondary School (AMU) qualified for the finals.

Mohd Zaid, Maaz Syed and Mohd Sabeeh Ahmad of Senior Secondary School Boys (AMU) bagged the first Prize. Anas Ahmad, Abbas Khan and S A Daniyal Mustafa of the Blossoms School stood second while Mohd Aadil Akhlaque, Aazib Manzoor and Mohd Rezaullah of Senior Secondary School Boys (AMU) won the third position. The participants were quizzed on the topics ranging from history and business to literature and trivia.

Mr Manzar Jamal, Director, Ayesha Tarin Trust, who attended the function as the Chief Guest addressed the participants and commended their enthusiasm. Law student, Mr Wajahat Jilani delivered the introductory remarks to begin the event while engineering students Mr Aasif Akhlaque and Asif Khan with their team of volunteers ensured the smooth functioning of the programme. Mr Rajnish Kumar Jha proposed the vote of thanks.
