Queen Mary University of London delegation visits AMU

Aligarh:AMU Alumnus Dr Ahmad Waseem, Professor of Molecular and Cellular Oral Biology at Queen Mary University of London and Mr Patrick Power, Deputy Director Marketing and Student Recruitment, Queen Mary University of London today visited the Aligarh Muslim University
and met the AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (Veteran) to build stronger relationship between Aligarh Muslim University and Queen Mary University in various fields of Education.
Speaking on the Occasion, Brigadier Ali assured all the legitimate help to facilitate the signing of MoU between the two universities. He added that this will create a better understanding between India and UK in different departments of education. Brigadier Ali has also asked the delegates to submit a detailed proposal at AMU.
Meanwhile, Dr Waeem and Mr Power also discussed possible student and faculty exchange programmes in details with the Pro Vice Chancellor.Professor Tariq Monsoor, Principal and CMS Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH); Prof Amanullah Khan, Dean Faculty of Medicine; Prof R K Tewari, Acting Principal, Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College; Prof Hafiz Shaeque Ahmad Yahya, Dean Faculty of Life Science  and Prof Iqbal Parwez, Chairman, Department of Zoology were also present during the meeting.After the meeting Mr Power and Dr Waseem delivered lecture at Dr Z A Dental College and Hospital.While Mr Power apprised students of Dental College about the opportunities for higher learning in the United Kingdom after completing their graduation, Mr Waseem spoke about the best Dental Surgery schools in the United Kingdom.Earlier in the programme, the guests were welcomed by Prof Mansoor and Prof Tewari.Dr Tabish, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery headed the organising committee to conduct the lectures of the guests.Senior Faculty members and students took part in interaction with Dr Waseem and Mr. Patrick after the lecture.
