UAE:The Aligarh Muslim University Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (Veteran) on his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visited the Sharjah University,
where he met with the University Chancellor, Professor Hamid M Al- Naimy and the University Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Dr Salah Tahir Al- Haj.
During the meeting, the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor of the Sharjah University showed interest in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aligarh Muslim University to promote knowledge sharing and academic exchange. Meanwhile, local media reports in the UAE have stated that this exercise will pave way for better academic exchange programs between Aligarh Muslim University and Sharjah University, while creating better relations between India and the UAE.
During the visit, Brigadier Ali also had a detailed discussion with the Sharjah University’s Dean of Quality Assurance, Professor Esam El Din. The focus of discussion was primarily on academic programs being conducted in both the universities.
