AMUSU Polling on October 8

Aligarh:The polling for Aligarh Muslim University Students Union (AMUSU) elections will be done at faculty levels on 8 Oct.16 while counting of votes will start the same day from 7:00 pm onwards till the declaration of results.

In a recently issued notice, Professor Iqbal Parwez, Chief Election Officer has also stated that the final speeches of the chair candidates from the Union Hall Terrace will be delivered on 6.10.2016 from 2:30 pm onwards.
The notice confirmed that the display of voters list by the respective deans will take place on 27.9.2016 while the filling of corrections in the voters list will be allowed the same day after 12 noon followed by display of final voters list by the respective deans on 27.9.2016.
Meanwhile, filing of the nomination papers in the prescribed format at AMUSU Office will be done on 29.9.2016. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be on 30.9.2016. The withdrawal of nominations (AMUSU Office) and display of list of valid candidates will be on 1.10.2016.Allotment of serial numbers to the valid candidates and notification thereof at AMUSU Office and the display of list of final candidates will be on 3.10.2016.
