The awardees include Zehra Alvi (Management), Anubhav Sarswat (Electrical Engineering), Ayesha Khan (Chemical Engineering), Shivani Agarwal (Computer Sciences), Owais Ahmad Khan (Mechanical Engineering), Saba Ameer (Architecture), Masood Shakeeb (Electrical Engineering) and Ayush Mittal (Mechanical Engineering).
The Training and placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University recently conducted a written test and online interviews for selection of suitable candidates for the awards.Training and Placement Officer, Mr Saad Hameed said that the online interviews are arranged for the second time where the applicants directly interacted with alumni in the United States through Skype.
He informed that SSESA is mentorship cum scholarship program offered by Aligarh Alumni Association of New England (AAANE), a Boston based alumni association engaged in guiding students and providing support for higher studies abroad.Dr. Humra Athar, Adjunct faculty, University of Massachusetts and Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General) coordinated the written test.
