Aligarh:The election programme of the University Court Election of the Donor’s category, Aligarh Muslim University has been announced.Professor Jamshed Siddiqui, Chief Election Officer has confirmed that the notification of the voter’s list was done on August 9, 2016 while any objections and corrections of voters list and settlements of objections and finalization of the voters list will be done till August 16, 2016.He said that August 22, 2016 has been declared as the last date for nomination and scrutiny of nomination papers while the allotment of serial numbers by lottery method and withdrawal of nomination papers will be done on August 24, 2016.
Prof Siddiqui told that polling through postal ballot in specially designed sealed envelopes and notification of the received envelopes will be done on September 9, 2016.
The election results will be declared on September 10, he added. Prof Siddiqui said that the voter’s list can be downloaded from the link, ‘http//www.amu.ac.in/newtenders/7555.pdf’.
