AMU announces winter and summer breaks

Aligarh:The Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd) on the behalf of the Academic Council has approved the dates of winter and summer vacations in AMU and its maintained institutions of Mallapuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj centres and all university schools except Faculty of Medicine and Unani Medicine for the on going academic session.

While the winter vacations will be from January 3  to January 17 ; the summer vacation will be from June 1 to August 24.
Dr Afsar Ali Khan, Officiating Registrar, AMU in a notice stated that the notification for winter vacation in the Faculty of Medicine and Unani Medicine will remain unchanged and detention-leave of seven days will be provided on 1:1 basis for those, who are detained by the Chairman of the Department/Dean of the respective faculties.
