AMU faculty present papers at int. conferences

ALIGARH:Prof. Mohd. Sanaullah, Department of Arabic, Aligarh Muslim University attended three international Conferences held in Algeria and Denmark recently.


These international conferences were organized on Language and Investment, in Mentouri University, Constantine, Algeria, “Interdisciplinary Sciences in Islam” in Em'ir Abdelkader University, Constantine, Algeria and “Rethinking Cultural Memory” at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Prof. Sanaullah also 'delivered special invited lectures on Indo-Arabic language and literature and contemporary Arabic literature in the faculties of Humanities and Arts in the Emir Abdelkader University, Constantive, Algeria.

It may be noted that Prof. Sanaullah has published ten books and over 170 papers and essays in English, Arabic and Urdu, besides participation in more than fifty conferences and seminars in India and abroad.

He has also visited a number of countries including Spain, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Denmark, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait etc. His contribution to Arabic language and literature has been acknowledged as a theme of an international conference held in Aal-AI-Bait University, Jordan, in 2012.
