There is no greater wealth than education – PVC Brig. Ali

ALIGARH: “Children are the asset for a family and they must be given opportunity to uninterrupted education to carve for themselves a better future”, said Brig. S. Ahmad Ali, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University while addressing at the programme “Free Education for All” which also marked Annual Function of Al-Noor Charitable Society, Aligarh, held at the Qila Public School.
Praising Mrs. Salma Ansari, wife of the Vice President of India, Mr. Mohd. Hamid Ansari, for her commendable services in promoting education, Brig. Ali said that Mrs. Ansari has lit a lamp of educational development amongst the marginalised section of society, who otherwise could not afford quality education in other public schools. He said that more than two thousand children are getting education in four such schools established by Mrs. Ansari.

Brig. Ali urged the parents of these children to help them achieve higher education and become an asset for the nation.

Stressing the need for educational empowerment of marginalized section, Brig. Ali said that there was no greater wealth than education and it was imperative for all to strive for attaining knowledge and upgrade their social, cultural and economic status.

On this occasion, children of the school displayed soft skills and surprised all by their perfectly synchronized performances in patriotic group songs. AMU Music Teacher, Mr. Johny Foster made musical presentations.

Mrs. Salma Ansari, Mr. Pawan Jain, Mr. Subhash Chandra, Mr. Vivek Bansal, AMU Proctor, Prof. M. Mosin Khan and Mr. S. Mehboob Ali were present on this occasion.
