AMU VC meets the President of India

ALIGARH:The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah yesterday met the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee to apprise him of certain important issues faced by the AMU Centres. He was accompanied by Shri Abhijeet Mukherjee, Member of Parliament from Jungipura, Murshidabad, West Bengal and Maulana Asrarul Haque Qasmi, Member of Parliament from Kishanganj, Bihar.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor informed Shri Pranab Mukherjee about the Kishanganj Centre of the University where lack of fund has made the situation critical.
