Aligarh:The Aligarh Muslim University today announced that the office timings during the Holy month of Ramadan will be from 8: 00 am to 2: 30 pm.
However, on Fridays, the offices will start at 8: 00 am and end at 12:00 pm.University authorities, in a notice, have also announced that during Ramadan, the university siren will sound at the time of ‘Iftar’ and 20 minutes before the ‘Sahar’ time. No refreshments will be served during meetings and functions to be held at the university during Ramadan to maintain the sanctity of the Holy month.
