ALIGARH:The Aligarh Muslim University has decided to make an enhancement of 25 percent in the budget allocation of 230 Departments of study and offices for the financial year 2016-17.
The officiating Finance Officer of the University, Prof. S. M. Javaid Akhtar said that a constant demand for increasing the budget allocation for departments and offices of the University was surging in view of the all round price hike of every commodity. The University administration carried out a detailed appraisal of these demands and decided to make 25% enhancement in the annual budget of these departments and offices.
Prof. Akhtar said that the enhancement will immensely help in financially strengthening these departments and offices enabling them to meet their essential requirements. He said that the increased funds will sufficiently improve the facilities in laboratories by way of procurement of equipments, chemicals and other gadgets.
