Law Faculty organizes Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Lecture

Aligarh:To mark the ‘Indian Constitution Day’ celebrations, Dr B R Ambedkar Chair, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University today organized ‘Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Lecture’ on the topic ‘Importance of preamble and rule of Dr B R Ambedkar in making of Indian Constitution.AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (retd), who attended the function as the Chief Guest recited preamble with the students and delivered an inspirational speech on the importance of constitution.

Guest Speaker, Shri Subodh Markandey gave a sensational lecture in which he delivered his thoughts about soul of Indian Constitution. He also spoke on the constitutional history.Professor Iqbal Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of law gave the introductory remarks while Prof Javaid Talib, Dean, Faculty of Law enlightened the students with his motivational ideas on Dr Dr B R Ambedkar. Prof Javaid later delivered the vote of thanks. Joint secretaries of Law Society, Farhan Shamsi and Samreen Ahmed conducted the programme.
Dr Mohd Tariq, in-charge of law society, faculty of law; Mr Aqa Raza, Mr Karnain Sattar; Mr Ujjwal Sinha; Mr Ali Faran Gulrez and Mr Mehboob Alam were also present on the occasion.
