US Alumni Association awards Mr Saad Hameed

Aligarh:Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), Aligarh Muslim University has recently been awarded by the AMU Alumni Association of New England, Boston, USA for his dedicated efforts for the career development and Job Placements of AMU students.

The award was conferred during a session organized on ‘Opportunities of Higher Education in USA’ by a renowned Alumnus, Professor Tariq Haqqi, North East Medical University, Ohio, US, in University Convention Centre, AMU.  
Prof Haqqi along with AMU alumni, Mr Naveen khan of Fox News, Boston apprised the students about Sir Syed Excellence for Science award (SESA) in the session.  
While delivering a lecture, Prof Haqqi mentioned that AMU Alumni based in USA through SESA provide mentorship to students wishing to study in US.He said, AAANE, helps the students aspirin to study abroad by sponsoring their GRE and TOEFL fees and the application fees of at least five universities.  Prof Haqqi on the behalf of AAANE, presented a memento to Mr Saad Hameed. The event ended with an interactive session.
