36 students of AMU achieve success in national level competitive exams

Aligarh:Adding to the never ending achievements of Aligarh Muslim University, at least thirty six students of Department of Physics have qualified CSIR-JRF, CSIR-NET, GATE and JEST this year.
Professor M Afzal Ansari, Chairperson, Department of Physics, AMU informed that Mukaddar Sheikh, Mohd Yasir Khan, Usuf Rehman, Mohd Adnan, Majidul Rahman and Gya Prasad have secured All India Ranks of 68, 92, 154, 158, 163 and 171 respectively in the CSIR-NET while in CSIR-JRF All India Ranks of 33 and 43 have been earned by Shahid Khaleel and Aijaz Ahmad Mir. He further informed that Mohd Salman Siddiqui, Rajibul Islam, Ruhul Amin, Ramij Raja, Shahid Khaleel, Md Tahir, Sunaina, SK Riyazuddin, Gya Prasad, Kashif Usmani, Habeebur Rahman, Usuf Rahman, Md Tasirul Islam, Hemand Kumar Singh, Mohd Yasir Khan, Mohd Rejaul Karim, Abdul Qadirul Batin, Azra Haroon and Ajaharul Islam have qualified GATE whereas Mohd Salman Siddiqui, Mohd Rejaul Karim, Hemand Kumar Singh, Ramij Raja, Ruhul Amin, Md Tasirul Islam, Habeebur Rahman, Majidul Rahman and Rajibul Islam got successful in JEST.

Professor Ansari said that the remarkable success achieved by the students exhibits their hard work as well as the support offered by the faculty members. He stated that the achievement will act as a benchmark for the future generations.
