Engineering students felicitated

ALIGARH: Brig. S. Ahmad Ali, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University today felicitated four engineering students for achieving exemplary success in their field. Brig. Ali felicitated Mr. Issar Ahmad with a Toshiba company Tablet for getting 17th position in All India Rank in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) examination, along with GATE score of 975. He also presented tie with AMU monogram to Mr. Ahsan Ahmad, Mr. Naman Gupta and Mr. Javed Ahmad for achieving 2nd position in paper presentation on "Waste water treatment of Tannery Industry by Biological Methods" in the Chemical Engineering Symposium at IIT Guwahati.

These students also showcased their "Wind Driven Vehicle" model in an Engineering Model Exhibition, "Reflux 2016" and won 2nd position out of 100 teams coming from all over India. The innovative model, based on the idea to harness wind energy for vehicles, demonstrated how electricity could be generated and harnessed from the pushed up wind energy of vehicles such as trains, planes and cars etc, where wind energy of a moving vehicle is channelled to charge the battery of a vehicle.

Brig. S. Ahmad Ali congratulated these students for bringing laurels to their alma Mater and complimented the Chairmen and faculty members of the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Electronics Engineering for these achievements.
