Professor Beg is the recipient of many awards and fellowships at International and national arenas like FICA, FICS and FIACS. Apart from being a Life Member of various Medical scientific Associations, working at National and International level, he has represented AMU in numerous National and International Conferences and has published research papers in reputed journals.
Professor Beg has been an academic enthusiast in surgery for nearly four decades. He has implemented very successful Clinical Governance programs and brought into focus the processes and outcome measures contributing to better patient care and training of Medical students.
Professor Beg has a large number of successfully performed cardiothoracic and vascular operations to his credit.
