Twenty students of Polytechnic get placed

ALIGARH:Twenty students of the University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University have been selected by Wipro Industries Limited, Banglore and Larsen & Tubro through a campus placement drive organized by the Trainiung and Placement Office (General).


All selected students will go through one-year training and during this period they will get 2 lakh per annum which will be enhanced in the second year up to 4 lakh per annum. Besides the employment, they will get B-Tech and M-Tech degree through an integrated course. The classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday.

In a meeting with selected students, Prof. S. Iqbal Ali, Principal, University Polytechnic suggested them to join as it was a good offer to get employment and education together.

Prof. Saad Hameed, TPO General, congratulated the students, Er. Mohammad Mohsin Khan, Member-in-Charge, Central Automobile Workshop and TPO University Polytechnic, for arranging the vehicles (buses) for the students to go to Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad. He said that it was for the first time that several placements have been made in multinational companies.
