AMU expel 11 students

Aligarh:Aligarh Muslim University has recently expelled at least 11 students for a period of ten years for the involvement in serious law-and order problems in the campus.
AMU Proctor Professor Mohd Mohsin Khan informed that the students, identified as Md Mohsin Iqbal, MA; Faheem Akhtar, PhD; Azhar Amani Vazir, BSW; Mohd Sohaib, BCom; Mohd Amir Khan, BCom; Mohd Zoraiz, PhD; Mohd Amir Khan, MA; Mohd Khalid Ali, BALLB; Zaid Ul Islam Sherwani, BALLB; Shahzaman Khan, PhD and Amir Khan, MCom, have been suspended after thorough examination of evidences against them by the University authorities.
He said that the Discipline Committee, held at the Pro Vice Chancellor’s Office, has found these students guilty of indiscipline and misconducts under the provisions of the Aligarh Muslim University Student’s Conduct and Discipline Rules, 1985 and recommended the stiff action.Professor Khan informed that the expelled students have been debarred from further studies or admission or re-admission in the University and the University and its maintained institutions have been placed out of bound for them.
