CDE admissions to commence from July 20

Aligarh:The Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd.) today released the prospectus of the Center for Distance Education (CDE), AMU for the academic session 2016-17. The CDE is going to start the admission process from July 20.
Professor Md Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Director, CDE, while attending the ‘Interface Meeting’ in the presence of University Grants Commission’s eight-member committee delivered a power point presentation in relation with the infrastructure and progress of the Center. He also answered the queries of the members with full satisfaction as a result of which the CDE has been given the approval for the institutional recognition for the academic sessions 2016-17 and 2017-18 by the Committee.
Professor Ansari informed that the Committee is a part of the Distance Education Bureau, New Delhi which is a regulatory body of the UGC. He further informed that the Bureau is aimed at giving recognition to the Open and Distance learning institutions in India.
