AMU Geology students prove their worth

Aligarh:Mr Himanshu Dhyani, research scholar at the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University has been picked up by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) for the post of JTA (Geology) (A-1 level).

Moreover Ms Tanveer Fatima Khan, Ms Zuhi Khan, Ms Asma Amjad Ghaznavi, Ms Sadia Orroj, Mr Ainul Hasan, Mr Shovi Khan, Mr Mohd Sayad Rahman, Ms Tanzeel Khatoon, Mr Abdul Samad Siddiqui, Mr Hifzurrahman and Mr Usman Arif Chaudhary, Research Scholars at the Department of Geology have been selected for UGC Maulana Azad Fellowship.
Professor Liaqat AK Rao, Chairman, Department of Geology, while expressing felicity over the achievement, said that the success of the students has come as a result of their hard work, dedication as well as effective guidance offered by the faculty members.
