TPO (General) organizes ‘Placement Training Workshop’

Aligarh:To train Aligarh Muslim University students, attending various courses, on job recruitment process, the AMU Training and Placement Office (General) recently organized a ‘Placement Training Workshop’ at the University Convention Centre.AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (retd), who attended the programme as the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of an effective CV and the Etiquette of a corporate Group Discussion.

While delivering his address, the Pro Vice Chancellor also talked about the Dos and Donts of a job interview. He congratulated the TPO (General) Mr Saad Hameed and the team of Aligarh Renaissance for organizing the workshop for the professional development of the students.
Meanwhile Mr Hameed highlighted the importance of a good CV, the parameters of an effective group discussion and the skills and abilities a corporate/MNC looks for  in a  candidate during the  job interview. He said that the objective of the workshop was to train students on the stages of CV writing, group discussion and personal interview to ensure maximum conversions during the recruitment drives. Mr Hameed concluded by saying that after the positive feedback from the students more of these kinds of workshops shall be organized for the welfare of the students.
Mr Rizwan Alam and Dr Khurram, presented their expert comments on Group discussion and corporate interview.The workshop was followed by an interactive session, in which Mr Hameed answered queries of students related to the topic. The workshop experienced an overwhelming response from the students by their presence.
