Sir Ross Masood Hall organizes festival to sensitize students about environment

Aligarh:Aligarh Muslim University’s Sir Ross Masood Hall recently organized ‘Zenith’, a literary festival to sensitize students about environment and clean ambience. Inter-School and Inter-Hostel quiz, essay writing and painting competitions held during the event saw participation of more than 100 students from AMU and various Aligarh based schools.  Welcoming the participants, Dr Shamshad Husain, Provost, Sir Ross Masood Hall urged the participating students and their parents to keep the environment clean.

He added that a literary festival to sensitize students about environment and clean ambience has been organized by an AMU resident hall for the first time.Dr Riaz Ahmad, Warden-in-charge of Literary and Cultural Society of Sir Ross Masood Hall, advised them to keep their surroundings clean and motivated them to properly throw the trash.
Meanwhile, Mr Mughis Ahmad, Secretary of Literary and Cultural Society and Joint Secretaries Mr Shams Raza and Mr Sartaj Alam also interacted with the students personally to educate them on green environment.
