Medha Patkar and Rajendra Singh to attend ‘Eco Summit 2016’ in AMU

Aligarh:Social Activist and Founder of Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA), Medha Patkar and Waterman of India, Magsaysay Awardee, Stockholm Water Prize Winner 2015, Mr Rajendra Singh will deliver lectures as Guest Speakers at the inaugural function of the ‘Eco Summit 2016’ at the University Polytechnic (Boys) Auditorium on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.The event, which is organized by University Eco Club (UEC), Cultural Education Centre, Aligarh Muslim University in association with Engineering and Environmental Solutions and MEDICS will be presided by the AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd).

The function is scheduled to begin at 10: 00 am on Tuesday with Professor F R Gauhar, President, UEC and Dr Fatima Khan, Secretary, UEC as the organizers.
