Aligarh:Sir Ross Masood Hall Resident students recently celebrated the ‘Ross Day’, 127th
Birth Anniversary of Sir Ross Masood at the Hall premises.
Professor (Hakim) Syed Zillur Rahman, President, Ibn-e-sina Academy of Medieval Medicines and
Sciences, who attended the function as the Chief Guest highlighted the
achievements of Sir Ross Masood.
During his address, Prof Rahman emphasized Sir Ross
Masood’s love for sciences. He pointed out that the construction of most of the
scientific laboratories in the campus was done in Sir Ross Masood’s tenure as
the AMU Vice Chancellor.
While suggesting students to settle early in life, Dr
Shamshad Husain, Provost, Sir Ross Masood Hall urged them to follow the
legitimate paths in achieving their goals.
Mr Mohd Azeem Khan, Senior Food and Mr Mohd Asif Hafeez,
Senior House D-Block delivered the welcome address for the guests. Mr Parvez
Alam, Senior Hall proposed the vote of thanks.
