Prof Iqbal to attend seminar in China

Aligarh:Professor Badar Alam Iqbal, Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim Universityhas been invited to attend a seminar and give a presentation on ‘Transformation of Indian Economy’ scheduled to take place from March 25 to 27, 2016 at the Institute of Advanced International Studies at Guangzhou, China.
The invitation has been sent to Prof Iqbal through a letter by Prof Wang Xuedong, Deputy Dean, Institute of Advanced Studies, Guangzhou, China.

Prof Iqbal’s interest and expertise areas are International Business, International Economics, Agricultural Economics and Climate Change/Global Warming among other topics. He earlier visited Guangzhou, China December 2015 on a BRICS Think Tank invitation.

Prof Iqbal, is an Ex-Fulbright Visiting Professor with a 33 years teaching and 38 years Research experience and exposure to his credit as a versatile and learned academician and scholar. He has been awarded many National and International Fellowships.

He has been on the Visiting Professorship Panel in different foreign countries, such as, UK, USA, Australia, France, China, Hawaii, South Africa, Germany, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Thailand. He is also on the Examiner’s Roll for MPhil and PhD programs in these countries.

Prof Iqbal is a Member Boards of Studies and Member of Research Development Committees in India for various Universities and Institutions.
