Dept of Physics to organize ‘National Conference on Recent Trends in Nuclear Physics’

Aligarh:The Aligarh Muslim University Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (retd) under the patronage of AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd) will inaugurate the two-days ‘National Conference on Recent Trends in Nuclear Physics’ in the Conference Hall of the Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University on February 15.

Dr D Kanjilal, Director, Inter-University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi will attend the function as the Chief Guest while many other eminent physicists and researchers from all over the country are expected to participate in the seminar.
The invited speakers for the seminar include Doctors S Kalidas, BARC, Mumbai; A K Jain, IIT Roorkee; S K Patra, IOP Bhubneshwar; V M Datar, TIFR, Mumbai; B R Behra, PU, Chandigarh; S Mandal, DU New Delhi; R P Singh, IUAC, New Delhi; N Madhavan, IUAC, New Delhi; S Muralithar, IUAC, New Delhi; Rakesh Kumar, IUAC, New Delhi; B K Nayak, BARC, Mumbai; Ajay K Tyagi, BHU, Varanasi; S S Ghugre, UGC DAE CSR, Kolkatta; I Mehrotra, AU, Allahabad; P P Singh, IIT, Ropar; W Haider, AMU, Aligarh and S A Abbas, IOP, Bhubneshwar.
The Organizing Committee of the seminar will be headed by Professor M Afzal Ansari, Chairperson, Department of Physics while Prof B P Singh will be the convenor of the programme.
