ALIGARH:The Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (ISRO), Dehradun is organizing the 17th IIRS Outreach Special Course on ‘Geoweb Services and Geoportal applications’ for the teachers and research scholars of different Institutes, Colleges and Universities as well as other working professionals. The duration of the course is June 28 to July 15.
Professor Liaqat AK Rao, Chairperson, Department of Geology and Edusat Coordinator informed that the course will be organized from 03:30 to 05:00 pm with an expected tally of five lectures per week. He said that the interested candidates may get themselves registered for the course at http://www.iirs.gov.in/online_application_17thcourse and mail the registration number to him at geoldeptt2012@gmail.com.All the participants will be awarded a Certificate of participation, Professor Rao added.
