AMU starts Malappuram Centre Law Faculty construction work

Aligarh:Aligarh Muslim University has started the construction work of the Law Faculty at Malappuram Centre. The construction work is being carried out by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and Rs 12.45 crores have been allotted for the purpose.Executive engineer Shri Kant, Assistant Engineer Jaswant Rai Bansal started working on the site according to the master plan prepared by Er Abdurraheem, Department of Architecture, AMU.

AMU has also appointed Er Junaid Qasim for supervision of the work.Dr H Abdul Azeez, Director of the Centre said that to solve the water crisis at the Centre, construction of a water sump of one lakh litre capacity will be done soon.
Meanwhile, AMU has also approved a Water-Harvesting-Plant of Rs 65 lakhs and a Solar-Energy-Panel of Rs 42 lakhs. The tender of construction work of the compound wall has been published by CPWD.
