Habib Hall, Department of Chemistry condoles tragic death of AMU students

ALIGARH:The resident members of the Mohammad Habib Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, in a condolence meeting held to mourn the tragic death of two resident members of the Hall, Yasir and Izhar, placed on record a deep sense of sorrow and expressed solidarity with their family.
Speaking on the occasion, Provost of the Hall, Dr. Suhail Sabir said that entire Habib Hall is with the families of the two deceased students in this hour of grief and “we will pray Allah raise their places in Jannah and give solace to their family and friends”.

A large number of students and staff members attended the condolence meeting and observed two minute silence.At another condolence meeting held in the Department of Chemistry, the Chairman of the Department Prof. M. Shakir, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff and students, paid condolences to the families of Yasir and Naman Chauhan, both final year B.Sc. (Chemistry) students, who passed away, Thursday, by drowning in a nearby rivulet. They also prayed for peace for the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss
