Malappuram Law students placed in multi-national

Aligarh:At least seven students of the Department of Law in the Malappuram Centre of the Aligarh Muslim University have been placed as Legal Assistants with the Gurgaon based multi-national company with branches in cities of United States and European countries ‘Consileo Legal Consultancy and Service Provider’.


BA LLB final year students, Mohammad Amir Khan, Nitin Sharma, Harshvardhan, Aniket Kumar, Amir Kaleem, Shaista Bano and Shivam Yadav were selected to join ‘Consileo Legal Consultancy and Service Provider’ from a group of 15 students, who have participated in the selection procedure. 

The appointments were done after a written test followed by interviews conducted at the Centre.   

Dr H Abdul Azeez, Director of AMU Malappuram Centre expressed happiness and appreciated the work done by teachers and students. He congratulated and encouraged the students to work hard in their positions and to achieve highest positions in company.

Dr Azeez further said that Malappuram Centre’s Law Department has students interested in legal practice and jobs in multi-national companies and they are easily able to pursue their interests with their dedication and hard-work. 

Dr Faisal K P, Coordinator of the Department of Law appreciated the efforts of Placement Committee and its Convenor Mr Ghalib Nashtar and efforts of student members Mohammad Amir Khan, Shivam Yadav, Rukhsar Saifi, Amir Kaleem, Surayya Ehtesham, Juhi Vermani and Ramsha Tanveer.

He mentioned that faculty members Mr Muhammad Abu Shahid, Mr Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik, Mr Shakeel Ahmed and Mr Shahnawaz Ahmed efforts in preparing students for the test and interviews and for organising the whole placement event at Campus have been of utter-most importance.

Meanwhile, the ‘Consileo Legal Consultancy and Service Provider’ appreciated the hospitality and reception at the Centre.
