AMU student wins Indian National Biology Olympiad

Aligarh:Ahmad Ozair, who was recently ranked 7th in the Saiyyad Hamid Senior School (Boys), Aligarh Muslim University class XII results, has won the prestigious Indian National Biology Olympiad held under the auspices of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).
Congratulating Ozair on the achievement, Major S M Mustafa, Principal, Saiyyad Hamid Senior School (Boys) said that this achievement will certainly act as a motivating factor for other students to do better in their studies and co-curricular activities.

On the basis of his score, Ozair has been selected to attend the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC) in Biology (2016) to be held at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR) scheduled from June 1 to 10, 2016.

Ozair, on the basis of his OCSC aggregate score might qualify as one of the top four students to represent India at the International Biology Olympiad to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from July 17 to 24, 2016.
Meanwhile, the entire school fraternity greeted Ozair on his achievement and wished him good luck for success at the camOzair is also the former editor of the Saiyyad Hamid Senior School (Boys) magazine.
