Dr Husain presents paper in International Conference

Aligarh:Dr Arshad Husain, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, AMU recently presented a technical research paper in the 3rd International  Conference on 'Nanotechnology for better living (ICNBL 2016)' jointly organised by IIT, Kanpur and NIT, Srinagar at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.During the paper presentation, Dr Husain presented an overview of the role of Nanotechnology as a tool to control environmental pollution.
Dr Husain’s paper also recommended new nanomaterials like carbon nanotubes, nanoparticles and nanodiamonds for effective water and wastewater treatment as well as a control technique for air pollution control.Dr Husain’s paper evoked a lot of interest and concern of the conference participants and its relevance was well appreciated.He has earlier presented several research papers in India and abroad and many of his papers have been published in journals of international repute.
